MUSIC: Imagination. Without it, my music feels like an incomplete thought. Great music should suck you into a black hole, take you for a magic carpet ride; that's great music! I call my sound "melt in your mouth indie pop with charm and sass". Although my new record will be a bit more alternative, so I'll add the word "Alt" in front of pop :)
LIVE SHOWS: My favorite live show was with John Popper (Blues Traveler) at Lucky Lounge in Austin Texas. We played my original "Genuine Jack" and it was RAD!
WRITING and COLLABORATION: Tobi Miller, previously with The Wallflowers once gave me good advice, saying "write one song every day" which has kept me prolific. I began writing and composing at the age of 10. Since then, I've had the great opportunity to work with Grammy Award Winning Christian Delano (Lady Gaga), Kevin Hunter (Simple Minds, Sheryl Crow) and Chris Fudurich (Britney Spears, Nada Surf, Sophie B. Hawkins) to name a few.
WHITE DANDELION EP: The new White Dandelion EP was released November 2011, produced by Billy Mohler (Smashing Pumpkins, Macy Gray, Liz Phair) and little ol' me! I hope you dig the new music.
